how can i set all of them concurrently in gui

a1=double2str(set(handles.edit4,'string',svr));
This does not make any sense. What do you want to achieve?
set(handles.edit4,'string',svr)
is more logical, or maybe
set(handles.edit4,'string',num2str(svr))
