Matrix Converter Driving Induction Machine

Hey everyone. I have a problem with my matrix converter design. I tried to drive an induction machine with my design but transient time of the motor's rotor speed is too long. I mean it takes 2 or 3 seconds to finish the transient side when i tried to convert frequency from 50 hz to 60 hz.

This is the consequence of machine parameters. The speed of the motor will be constrained by the inertia and friction factor. Decreasing the inertia and friction will make the machine reach the steady state faster. The inertia and friction are specific to the application.
