how to use Data acquisition Tool ???

I wrote this piece of code in my M.editor

CODE

ai=analoginput('winsound'); addchannel(ai,1);

FS=1600; duration=2; set(ai,'SampleRate',FS); set(ai,'SamplesPerTrigger',duration*FS);

while running this i got this error

ERROR

??? Error using ==> analoginput.analoginput at 121 Failure to find requested data acquisition device: winsound.

Error in ==> ana at 1 ai=analoginput('winsound');

Please Help me to resolve this problem.

Hi,

seems like winsound is not available for you. Did you run this:

daqregister('winsound')

This is needed in order to use the winsound device. In the case you did that alread: What does this give:

out = daqhwinfo;
out.InstalledAdaptors

And also this:

daqhwinfo('winsound')

Are you using a laptop?
