How to extract certain values from an array

I have an array:
x=[8,5,5,5,9,4,3,2,9,10]
I would like to create a new array but only with values less than 7. How can I do this?

First see Array Indexing and Find Array Elements That Meet a Condition. Then try
>> x=[8,5,5,5,9,4,3,2,9,10];
>> new = x(x<7)
new =
5 5 5 4 3 2
