SHAPE FACTOR for kidney

  • Calculate the shape factor of the kidney to remove any non-kidney component and keep kidney edges to get final result by:
where A is the area of region, L is the number of boundaries point(x,y)
  1. In my opinion, Authors should add short basic notions and explain in better way some notions like: x,y, A,L.
this is my doctor comment can any body help to mention more explination about this notation ??
