Error using - Matrix dimensions must agree.

Hi,

I am trying to calculate y

y=x1.^2-2*x2.^2+3*x3.^2-4*x4.^2+5*x5.^2-6*x6.^2+7*x7.^2+8*x8.^2-9*x9.^2+10*x10.^2

if i remove -6*x6.^2 it works.All matrix sizes are same.no mismatch in size of matrices.Please help me to fix this.
