how can i solve mixed integer programming using genetic algorithm

suppose for optimizing a problem consists of three variables. i want value of the first two variables are integer (such as 5 & 10)and third variable is fractional representation(12.5). how can i solve the problem in matlab mfile,not using optimization toolbox.

Since there are such a small number of variables, you could probably search exhaustively over the different possible values of the two integer variables by using a for-loop. For each pair of values, use FMINSEARCH (not in the Optimization Toolbox) to minimize with respect to the 3rd continuous variable.
