Hello there,
I take up researching work "Development of a software and hardware complex for automated visual and measuring control of steel ropes based on computer vision and deep learning technologies". It is necessary to solve a number of issues to detect defects on steel ropes and measure their metric characteristics. One of those issues is to determine the waviness of steel rope how it is shown below:
How can I determine the waviness of three steel ropes on the picture below? Please, help me with this issue.
