Hi, im new to MATLAB ans currently working on a project that requires the modelling of a electrical system for electric vessels. The main objectives is to determine the required power rating of the entire system that would be able to charge the vessels.
  • what are the components required in a typical electrical system for a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles/vessels?
  • how are these components designed and connected in simulink schematic diagram?

Hi,
You can use check this documentation which shows modelling of charger in Simulink and Simscape Electrical. Also refer to additional examples, this will give you a idea of implementation of systems in Simscape Electrical.
