JDBC driver error: com.mysql.jdbc.driver. Driver not found/loaded

I am trying to define jdbc data source but after inputing name,driver name and URL and i click on test,I receive this error "JDBC driver error: com.mysql.jdbc.driver. Driver not found/loaded"
I think it has to do with the mysql jdbc connector. Pls help
