Help regarding MATLAB Codes for Image Processing.

Can anyone help me providing with some book or pdf containing matlab codes of image processing along with some introduction to sparse bassed image processing ? I need some basic book not advanced one. Basically I want to learn how the write the codes for different image proceesing application along with the syntax. I am in a tough situation. The books or pdfs avialabe in the market or internet are not adequate to train a fresher like me because I have to start from zero. So Please help me with some good and effective suggestions.
