with the plot is there possible to write name ?

In this plot there are several y values from different files, I want to give names of file with color name I am not able to fine which color represent which file? I want to write file name within plot itself?

For example: If your plot command goes like:
plot(x1,y1,x2,y2,x3,y3,x4,y4,....); % plotting xith against yith
add the legend in the same order than variables were added into the plot command
legend('var1','var2','var3','var4',...)
You'll see on the legend what colour each pair of variables has on the plot.

For adding text to your plot, try the text command:
help text
doc text
