how to detect this 2nd peak in a array ?

i have a array I want to find this 2nd peak
array of 1x2048
I want to iterate from back to this point i.e at X=1427+5(just before the start of 2nd peak)

This can be solved in a relatively simple way, i.e.
V = .. % Signal
[V1, Index1] = max(V);
[V2, Index2] = max(V(1427+5:end));
