Remove certain isosurfaces in a volume by size and shape

I have used the volume viewer tool to isolate some organelles within a cell, mostly lipid droplets and ribosomes etc. which are typically spherical. Is there a way to discard srtifacts that are not round?

volumeViewer() has no way to select datapoints for display, other than whether the datapoints are within an adjustable range.
You would need to pre-filter the data. For example bwareafilt() might perhaps help.
