I have used the volume viewer tool to isolate some organelles within a cell, mostly lipid droplets and ribosomes etc. which are typically spherical. Is there a way to discard srtifacts that are not round? ![](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/651190/image.png)

volumeViewer() has no way to select datapoints for display, other than whether the datapoints are within an adjustable range.
You would need to pre-filter the data. For example bwareafilt() might perhaps help.
