For English Alphabets recognition after Edge detection what different techniques can be followed apart from OCR and Neural Network?

No matter what algorithm is used (neural networks or whatever) it's all called OCR. So you need to be asking what methods are there other than neural networks and the methods I already gave you (in your other posting) here in Vision Bib.
