I want to create a sequence of variables, which later i'm gonna use for differentiation of a function.

For example, when a "for loop" is run from one to 10, I want to create variables like x_1, x_2, x_3.... This must be type of variable created using syms option or var option... i.e., it should not carry any value.. I will then be using these variables for differentiating a function f(x_1, x_2, ..) , which is a function of all these variables..
