Does the Dependency Analyzer account for coding logic?

When running the Dependency Analyzer on my MATLAB Project, the "Problems" field says that I have missing toolboxes. With the logic of my code, the function requiring the toolbox isn't even executed. Why do I still receive the warning?

The Dependency Analyzer ignores the logic of code and analyzes even dead portions of code. For example, analyzing the following portion of code will report Dependency on Simulink.
if false
load_system(vdp)
end
