Note that anyone who does know the answer to this is also under a non-disclosure agreement, so they could not tell you if they do know of something coming down the pipes.
Are you asking us to predict with our MATLAB crystal balls? Anything can happen. And if it CAN happen, then at some point it will happen. How far in the future will this take, who knows? Will MATLAB even exist by them? Perhaps the Skynet version of MATLAB may do it, but Skynet does not like people so it may be difficult to get a license.
Honestly, if you are asking about this in any time like the short term, the answer is a pretty definite NO. PDE solutions tend to be often different in nature from ODE solutions. And that means the basic approach used in tools like Simulink will not be easily used to solve PDEs. So I'm sorry, but I don't expect to see PDEs solved in Simulink any time soon. But one day, who knows?

You could submit an enhancement request through Technical Support using the Contact Support link under the My Support heading on the Support page. The more details you can provide about what types of PDEs you want to solve and what your application is where solving PDEs in Simulink would be beneficial or necessary the better, as real-world use cases can provide additional motivation for developers when considering what features to include in future releases.
