hi, i have two axes on my gui file, and i wanna plot different graphs to these axes, but i cant control where to plot, it plots wrong on axis, but when i try:***bold***
handlename=findobj(gcbf,'Tag','axes1')
plot(handlename,[..],[..])
matlab returns the error "vectors must be same lengths."
what is the problem?
thanks in advance

plot(x,y)
% x and y should have the same number of element
If you want to plot on axes1
plot(handles.axes1,x,y)

i've tried it but it only works while the commands are written on gui funtion, but i want to create a different function and call it during the process.
if i dont use function it's ok, but this time i need to specify the axes to be "hold on // hold off", how can it be done then?
