Matlab Coder c-code generation: how to create new version for same project

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
I have a Matlab Coder project that is generating multi-instance, single file, c-code as dll.
Now we want to generate an update to the project and release it as a new version of the dll. The requirement is that as well the old as the new version must be available. The client will create a switch to choose between the 2 versions.
The project structure is as follows:
matlab_coder_project_x
entry_point_function_1
entry_point_function_2
entry_point_function_x
Our current thinking is to add version numbers to the generated code project as well as adding it to the entry point functions. When we release a new version there will be an additional folder:
matlab_coder_project_x_v2
entry_point_function_1_v2
entry_point_function_2_v2
entry_point_function_x_v2
What are the best practices to generate an updated version? How are others handling this requirement?
Best,

I am not very sure about the best practice about update version. But if you want to rename the output binaries there is a way to do it.
In Coder App :
In command line :
codegen entry1 -args {...} entry2 -args {..} ... -o foo_V1_0
Hope this will be helpful for you.
