How 'normalization by standard deviation' works?

  • Can anyone please explain how normalization by standard deviation (ie. b = normalize(a, 'scale')) works internally?
  • Is it b = (a - mean(a)) ./ std(a) ?
  • Is n or (n-1) used in calculations? (n is the data size)

Read the help and documentation of normalize to find out. If that information is lacking you can "read the code, Luke"...

Already read the doc yet couldnt get the complete answer i need.
I will read also the code as u suggested and try to understand.
