Newbie question: adding m-files

I am wanting to add a title to a figure with several subplots and found an m-file on the file exchange (at http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/3218). How do I add this so that Matlab recognises this as a general function for all time regardless of what my current folder is? Thanks in advance...

add the path to your m-files
doc addpath

It's best if you put that in your startup.m file, or follow it with savepath, or both, so that it will remember it for future sessions.
