How to setup the step size for sliding window

For example am having the gray image of size 256x256 and am using blockproc or something like that to move the sliding window of size 8x8 through my image, my question is, i want to move this sliding window for step size of 3 pixels.

You need to use blockproc(). It can do a sliding window that moves in "jumps" of 3 pixels. Please adapt the attached demo.
