Generate Video from UAV Toolbox 3D simulation

I am using the Unreal Engine Scenario simulation of the UAV Toolbox. Is there a way to save the 3d simulation window results as a video?

Hi Philipp,

There is no built-in mechanism to save the 3D simulation window view in a video, but here are some potential workarounds:

You can use an external screen / video capture tool to record the content of the video window. There are tons of free and paid video capture tools. For example, if you are using Windows and have access to PowerPoint, it has a screen recording tool.
You can add a Simulation 3D Camera sensor to your simulation and then capture the images and write them to your workspace or a file. For example, the To Multimedia File block from Computer Vision Toolbox can save a video file with common codecs.
