prediction using genetic algorithm

I have a dataset having 5 input and 1 output. I want to develop a model using genetic algorithm for the available data set. So, that this model can be used for prediction. Please guide me through this

MATLAB supports the use of Genetic Algorithm as a part of it's Global Optimization Toolbox.
You can check documentation and it will help you get started.

Perhaps you are looking at fitting a parameterized model to data using the genetic algorithm. You can follow the Nonlinear Data-Fitting example, using ga instead of fminunc as the minimizer. But you would almost certainly be better off using lsqcurvefit or lsqnonlin for this type of fitting.
