Unrecognized function or variable 'fHG1Client'

Hi community,
I am using a code that was written for Matlab 2014 or earlier. I am getting this error "Unrecognized function or variable 'fHG1Client' whenever I run the code. I am sure there is no easy way to convert the code direclty to newever version of matlab but i would like to ask the community if there is a starting point somewhere where I can try ot fix the bug. Following is the piece of code:
jWindow1 = [];
while isempty(jWindow1)
pause(0.001)
jFigPeer = get(handle(gcf),'JavaFrame');
jWindow1 = jFigPeer.fHG1Client.getWindow;
end
