How do I optimise a logarithmic (log) function in Matlab?

Hi,
I would like to optimise the following function. It is said to be cvx however i look for examples on matlab and cannot find one where a log function is used from this paper: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9014076

It depends on which variables you can change in your optimization process, and whether there are any constraints such as bounds. There are plenty of examples of optimizing nonlinear functions in the documentation. See any example in the Nonlinear Optimization category.
