Three Phase Inverter Simulator

I am trying to build a predictive controller for a three phase inverter. To achieve this, I am trying to code the model of the said inverter but have no idea how to start. I wish to code this simulator in Matlab programming language. Are there any references that could help to get to creating this simulator on matlab.
