Why do I receive the following error:

A licensing error occurred while trying to use <PRODUCTNAME>.

This error indicates that your license file is invalid because it was generated for a different operating system.
For example, this error would occur if a Linux license file was used for a Windows MATLAB installation.
To resolve this issue, you will need to activate again and specify the correct operating system.
