This calculator plots the voltage, current, power and stored energy at the capacitor/inductor against time in a series RC/RL circuit. Several parameters can be adjusted such as the electromotive force of the voltage source (E), the resistance (R), the capacitance (C)/inductance (L), the start of the transient phase (T) or the initial voltage at the capacitor (V0)/current at the inductor (I0). Once the plots are depicted, a certain time (t) can be introduced in the calculator to obtain the exact values for the voltage (v), current (i), power (P) and stored energy (W) at the capacitor/inductor at that time. There is a switch to alternate between the RC and the RL circuits, and a second switch to alternate between the voltage/current and the power/energy plots.
