Matlab user for doing point-wise computations for different models. I prefer Matlab because of its natural ability to keep clear the mathematical formula through its syntax (is not the case for R, and especially for Python, which uses a lot of concatenation and alias, or invert default column with rows, indexed from 0 and not from 1...) MATLAB = MATrix LABoratory: A nice heritage from his ancestor FORTRAN (FORmula TRANslation), the others cited before being more inspired from C (natural environment for Unix at his start).
