Alberto Carlevaro

He received the Master Degree in Applied Mathematics in May 2020 from the University of Genoa with 110 out of 110 cum laude with a physics-mathematics thesis on the behavior of liquid crystals under electromagnetic fields. He was a research fellow at the Institute of Electronic, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering (IEIIT) of the National Research Council (CNR) where he worked on Machine Learning and Explainable AI in collaboration with Rulex Inc. He is now a PhD student in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering and Naval Architecture (DITEN) in the research topic "Traffic Analysis in the Smart City", in collaboration with CNR and S.M.E. Aitek. His current fields of research are Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Learning, Explainble AI.
