Responsibilities

You will use your industry experience and technical expertise to refine our customers’ development processes with MathWorks solutions and to impact on the internal development roadmap. Projects areas include software development for systems related to automated driving, vehicle to vehicle/infrastructure communication, perception, path planning, sensor fusion, control and situational analysis algorithm design.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing technical advice to customers ensuring the successful adoption of MathWorks solutions around MATLAB, Simulink, RoadRunner
  • Establishing an active expert network through direct customer engagements
  • Supporting German sales teams by analyzing customers’ requirements, guiding product evaluations, creating proof of concepts and building successful technical sales strategies
  • Delivering presentations during customer meetings, conference calls, seminars and webinars
  • Identifying new business areas by conducting market and account research
  • Sharing customer feedback and business trends with development and technical marketing
  • Developing demonstration programs, application examples, and simulation models

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
  • High motivation for working directly with customers
  • Excellent spoken and written proficiency in both German and English (C1/C2) are a must.
  • High drive to continuous learning and self-improvement 
  • Professional work experience in ADAS and graphical scene and traffic scenario creation
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. SOTIF, ISO 21434, ISO/PAS 8800) and regulations (e.g. UNECE R156) is a plus
