The Modelling & Distributed Missions Simulation group of Leonardo’s Electronics Division has developed RIACE, the Realistic Intelligent Agents for Computer Environments.
RIACE can simulate complex missions that involve air, land, and sea assets and distribute the simulations through HLA or DIS to users connected in a geographic network.
MATLAB® and Simulink® enabled the team to efficiently manage the wide variety of applications, ensure the level of realism required for simulation, and develop complex software that operates in real time.
