Connecting to Bluetooth Devices from MATLAB
Many devices can connect to each other through Bluetooth protocol. You can communicate with a Bluetooth device directly from your computer using MATLAB and Instrument Control Toolbox.
The toolbox provides functions that let you communicate with and transfer data to or from your Bluetooth device provided your device supports Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP). You can also communicate with your Bluetooth serial device using MATLAB scripts or create your own software drivers and encapsulate low-level Bluetooth serial commands into higher level commands that are easier to access. Bluetooth serial support is provided on Windows, and MAC platforms.
