VTI Instruments and MATLAB
VTI Instruments manufactures test equipment such as thermocouple and voltage measuring instruments, switch/measure control subsystems, digital multimeters, and RF switches. You can use MATLAB together with Instrument Control Toolbox as your single software environment to configure, control, acquire, and analyze data from VTI instruments.
Certain data acquisition devices from VTI Instruments can be used with Data Acquisition Toolbox and an adaptor available on MATLAB Central. Visit MATLAB Central for a list of devices that can be supported with this adaptor.
Once data is in MATLAB, you can analyze and visualize that data for tasks such as signal processing, statistical analysis, digital filtering, and curve fitting. You can also create graphical interfaces for collecting and analyzing your data and automating tests.
VTI Instrument Drivers
Instrument drivers let you communicate with an instrument using higher-level commands. You can communicate with any instrument that supports the instrument standards IVI, LXI, or VXIplug&play.

- Instrument driver search tool (search by model name or number)
- IVI Foundation Driver Registry
Communication Protocols
If an instrument driver is not available for your instrument, you can communicate directly with the instrument using SCPI commands over these communication protocols:
