Software Component Designer for Simulink® 支持包为面向服务的架构 (SOA) 应用提供端到端工作流。设计具有定义的服务接口和服务质量 (QoS) 属性的模块化软件组件，在模拟件运行时环境 (RTE) 中仿真通信和执行行为，并为嵌入式 Linux® 平台生成完全可部署的应用。
主要功能包括：
建模 - 使用软件组件设计器将 Simulink 模型配置为软件组件，并使用客户端-服务器端口和基于消息的通信定义服务提供商和使用程序。
配置 - 通过配置组件端口上的服务质量 (QoS) 属性来指定通信和执行行为。
验证 - 使用测试框架在模拟件运行时环境 (RTE) 中对软件组件进行仿真以在部署前验证行为。将组件集成到软件架构模型中以进行组合级测试（使用 System Composer™）。
