how do i connect nxt mindstorm to matlab using bluetooth?

i connected the nxt to the laptop and it even got paired up together but the minute i try to run the code in matlab; it tells me that no usb port is found?

What does http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/instrfind.html say? And is it telling you that the port is not found, or is it telling you it cannot be opened?
