MATLAB DOES NOT START

I successfully installed MATLAB R2010a in my Windows7 PC.But when I click on MATLAB icon it does not start.Infact running MATLAB.exe from "C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2010a\bin" opens up a CMD window for a fraction of second and then closes by itself.Please help me.
