Real Time Serial communication with Simulink

I am able to acquire data from a TI- ADS1299 Biosignal board which is interfaced through an Arduino DUE connected to one of the usb ports. The data is composed, per sample, of 8 channels, each of 4 bytes channel and a 4 byte header. therefore there is 36 bytes per sample.
I basically run the code, in the m-file attached, repeatedly in a timer call-back function every 0.1 seconds. The data is plotted in a stripchart. My question is how would you perform this in SimuLink? I've tried using Query instrument block, I managed to some bits but I am not sure how I can decode the data like I do in the code. Also I get absolutely nothing when I use Serial Read block diagram.
