how create GUI as main interface for a project includes picture?

hi,

My knowledeg in GUI is simple. I would like to create main interface for my project includes title of my project and I would to set a picture relate to my project in same window. how do that? thanks

You can use uicontrol('style', 'text') to create a text area that is not in any plot axes.

However, pictures must be inside a plot axes, so you might just want to create an axis with axes() and title() the axis and use image() to put the image in place.

but when I use axes I should use push button to load image. right?

what I want is figure i can set in it the color of bakground and the font and set image. regarding the unicontrol, when I used it it be in lower corner how can change the position and size of font.
