Code generation - passing a large virtual bus to an enabled (atomic) subsystem

Hello, I was wondering how the memory allocation takes place when a bus containing a large number of signals (around 10000 signals, for example), is passed into an enabled subsystem as an input. Does Simulink coder allocate additional memory for the entire bus?
