implement Incremental Shaft Encoder to arduino mega

hi, i am working on a project, which is to control an Arduino car by simulink. however, i found it difficult to create a simulink file of a quadrature/rotary encoder with 2 phases, while the phase difference is 90 degrees. in the meantime, i discovered the Incremental Shaft Encoder in the SimElectronics library. i wonder if this can help... or, if anyone possess the encoder simulink file i just mentioned. thanks a lot
