Car recognition by contour

Hi all, how can I do the recognition between pedestrians and cars by contour. I have extracted the objects and gotten contours, but I have no ideas how to recognize them. Help me plz.

can you show a sample image along with the code you have so far?

Could you find the area enclosed by all the contours and discriminate cars from pedestrians based on the area of the contours, using polyarea for example?
