Invalid Login Credentials when setting up Raspberry Pi for MATLAB Online

When using sudo matlab-rpi-setup to setup my raspberry pi for connection to MATLAB Online I get the following error after entering my login credentials:

"Invalid email address/user ID or password.

Note: If you have two-step verifcation enabled, see troubleshooting documentation for authentication instructions."

According to the troubleshooting guide I should be getting a verification code that I add to the password, however the code never gets sent to me. I also get this error even if two-step verification is disabled. The email and password I use work on the website and on desktop MATLAB, but not on the raspberry pi.

I've been able to connect to this pi using desktop MATLAB over wifi, but I'm trying to use MATLAB Online to acess it remotely.

Anyone know a solution for this?

Hi Prasanth,

1) I have tried multiple times to ensure that there are no typos and the proper cases are used, including logging in and out of the website manually to ensure it's correct.

2) I was getting the error before enabling 2 step verification, so I enabled it and tried again to see if that would solve the problem. I continue to get the same error but do not receive a code, again I logged in and out of my mathworks account to confirm that the verification was indeed working.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Based on your responses to my above points, I think it is time that we tried re-installing the "matlab-rpi" package.

Steps:

1) sudo apt-get --purge autoremove matlab-rpi

2) Reboot pi

3) sudo apt-get update

4) sudo apt-get install matlab-rpi

5) Now try the"sudo matlab-rpi-setup" again. If you are still facing the same issue, please write to MathWorks Technical Support Team. https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html?s_tid=sp_ban_cs
