I read that R2020a does not support Reinforcement Learning with SimEvents. Can I use both in R2021a or R2021b?

Is there any workaround and perhaps an example using a simevents model in connection with RL? I need only simple Q-learning. Of course I can implement Q-learning in MATLAB, but how can I call my MATLAB function from a Discrete Event Chart?

Unfortunately, I planned a comparison of MATLAB/SimEvents + RL with other environments an I am a MATLAB/Simulink fan since 25 years. :(
