HDL Coversion of Simulink code

Hi Team
I am trying to generate a HDL code for the sender and receiver for a sample wireless communication. Can I have both sender and receiver code in the same simulink model?
The HDL code after conversion has to run on different fpga devices (sender & receiver). Do I need to create separate simulink (.slx) models for sender and receiver?
