The issue isn't your motor model so much is that your vehicle is moving backwards because of the angle and wind speed you have applied to it. It's also possible the motor isn't strong enough as modelled, as even with a much smaller Beta, it still ends up moving backward. the Beta variable takes in radians, so a value of 1 is a very steep angle.
