what is the alternative function for mipimbin?

In an image processing book using Matlab, it shows mipimbin as a function, but that doesn't work, please help me.

This is not a toolbox function of Matlab.
So please read in the book, where you can get the codes for the functions. If you have downloaded the code already, please explain what "doesn't work" mean. The readers cannot guess this important detail.

If the book doesn't state where to obtain its companion software, please post the name of the book and the name of the author or search for it on the MATLAB and Simulink Based Books page to see if the book's page links to its companion software.
when I say that it doesn´t work it is because I get the message that this variable was not previously defined, and I searched the whole book and nothing related to it appears.

Fine. Then the book is useless. Suggesting a not existing command is a waste of your time.
Or the authors of the book left the link in the book. E.g. on the last page 421: http://biomedimaging.org/
