simscapeのばねの縮む方向を教えてください。

Simscape⇒View simulation data⇒simlogで結果エクスプローラを開くんですが、そこにばねの力や変位が表示されるんですが、ばねが縮んでいるか伸びているかいまいちわからないです。どっちが縮む方向でしょうか？
